Workshops

Delivering creative workshops is a key part of our practice.

We’ve worked with participants aged 5 to 95, and everyone in between.

We’ve run workshops with primary and secondary schools, youth groups, University students and staff, at Chickenshed Theatre, Extant's Pathways Programme, and at Mental Fight Club’s ‘Dragon Café’ with a focus on mental health. We run our own She Goat Theatre Club for older women in South London at Longfield Hall and are currently working with Resonate Arts to lead a series of creative movement workshops for people living with dementia in Westminster.

  • Our experience is born out of years of devising new performance work from scratch, both as She Goat and collaborating on other artist’s critically acclaimed projects.

  • We both hold Enhanced DBS certificates and public liability insurance.

  • Eugénie has been a part-time lecturer at University of the Arts Wimbledon alongside her artistic practice, teaching BA students with a focus on devised and site-specific performance development.

  • Shamira is an experienced artist facilitator and community workshop-leader. She was co-director of Camden Youth Theatre, has led bespoke masterclasses and workshops with East 15’s Theatre Directors course, Birkbeck University’s MA in Text & Performance, mature students at Luxembourg’s Unipopulaire, Battersea Arts Centre’s Create Course for local adults, and ran a workshop series for neurodivergent single parent families in Barking & Dagenham.

What's possible?

We can tailor the workshop to what is pertinent for your group.

A typical She Goat creative workshop could include a mix of creative writing, making soundscapes, movement, devising scenes, improvisation, and drama games.

Sometimes it’s a one-off, sometimes a series of dates or week-long intensive.

Here’s some examples of what we’ve offered in the past…

  • devising from lived experience (autobiography)

  • making gig theatre

  • creating two-hander work

  • developing creative audio description and making your work accessible

  • theatre-making around a key theme (e.g. strength and how it intersects with gender identity and ageing)

Want to chat? We’re happy to have a conversation and we like a new challenge.

"the facilitators are superb! They are able to draw on all individuals of all levels of confidence. I didn't know it was possible to have this much fun as a grown up."

Participant (2025)

"I loved how carefree and light-hearted and welcoming this all was."
